End of June Report

Tropicals are all doing well.

Bananna trees and Elephant ears

Bananna trees and Elephant ears

Bananna trees have all reproducted with only one exception. We now have five in the nursery.  The Elephant Ears age getting huge.  The Bananna trees are about three feet tall now.  The sedum under these tropicals will cover soil in about a week.  This has been a good addition to the yards landscape.

Potted annuals are holding there own

Hanging baskets along patio

Hanging baskets along patio

Ones in plastic pots doing the best.  These require water almost every day.  Being gone two weeks in July will be quite a test for them.  The Geraniums are not doing as well as the Wave Petunia.

Shrubs are growing quickly

We give all a cut  soon. No signs of insect problems in the arborvity.  I think I will waite to spray the systemic insect control untill the insects become aparent.

The Day Lillys are not in prime

Te Day Lillys are not in prime yet but some of the most beautiful of our colection have been poping a few blooms.

Agive Plant

The Agave plant we tend to indoors during the winter months has doubling in size and produced three offspring.  Not sure when I should transplant but I have moved one to it’s own pot.
